Busy outpatient vascular practice with multiple locations is seeking dynamic RN practice administrator who loves developing staff and helping patients. The RN practice administrator will function in a key leadership role while the practice grows.

Position Summary

The Vascular Practice Administrator is a Registered Nurse who will provide leadership by setting and maintaining standards for the clinical operations of all services, ensuring the fulfillment of the clinical goals and objectives of the clinical staff, and providing management expertise. The Vascular Practice Administrator will participate in assessing the environment, communicating ideas, developing and implementing policies, initiating programs and systems, and managing resources. The Vascular Practice Administrator is responsible for the development of clinical staff and reports to the Executive Director of Vascular Operations.

  • Implement new procedures, training and acquiring equipment for the practices’ growth
  • Create and enforce policies and procedures in the clinical setting
  • Create educational handouts for continuing education for the clinical staff
  • Help with quarterly meetings, with all vascular practice staff, by presenting updates, training and education
  • Manage procedural costs
  • Educate staff with safety training and implemented safety equipment

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

  • Current, valid RN licensure in Texas
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in a cath lab, or combination cath lab and critical care experience, with 2 years in a supervisory/management capacity
  • Outpatient practice management experience required
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and extremely well-organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel to clinics in DFW area
  • Team player with ability to solve problems and recommend solutions
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
