Dr. Mehta believes that every patient should be treated as an individual and is an important part of the decision-making process for their own care. “I like to listen to my patient’s unique situations, present the diagnosis, treatment options/plans and work with them together for what is realistic but also medically necessary,” she says. Dr. Mehta understands the importance of developing trusting relationships with her patients and uses her varied work and life experiences to be empathetic, compassionate and understanding.
