About Dr. Hamilton
Board-certified vascular and interventional radiology physician Carlos Hamilton III, MD, is the founder of Hamilton Vein Center, the first outpatient interventional radiology practice in Houston, Texas. He sees patients at the Sugar Land, Texas, practice where he specializes in using ultrasound equipment to accurately diagnose vein problems. He has performed thousands of vein and vascular procedures in his career.
Dr. Hamilton graduated with honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he was accepted into the medical school honor society. He then served as chief resident during his diagnostic radiology residency at the university before moving to Dallas, Texas, to complete a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, one of the top vascular and interventional radiology fellowship programs in the country.
After his fellowship, Dr. Hamilton returned to Houston, where he practiced at Memorial Radiology Associates as a diagnostic and interventional radiologist before opening Hamilton Institute and the Hamilton Vein Center in March 2010.
