StrideCare Welcomes Dallas Podiatry Works Podiatrist to Multi-Specialty Network

StrideCare is proud to welcome the addition of Dr. Sonia Simon, DPM of Dallas Podiatry Works to their network. StrideCare is the largest Texas-based multi-specialty medical network including podiatry, vascular, and wound care providers.
About Sonia Simon, DPM
A Dallas native, Dr. Sonia Simon is excited to be joining Dallas Podiatry Works and StrideCare. Dr. Simon is passionate about providing compassionate care to her patients and helping them reach optimal health. Adds Dr. Simon, “I love having a set of skills that really help and impact the lives of others. Despite how busy a day is, knowing that I took away pain from someone that’s been dealing with it for years makes every day easy.”
Dr. Simon believes that patient care is a team effort. That is just one of the reasons she is thrilled to be a part of StrideCare’s network of lower extremity providers. “Together—the patient, other specialty providers with StrideCare and myself—we will make a comprehensive treatment plan that works to get the patient to the other side.”
Dallas-based StrideCare is a physician’s group at the forefront of comprehensive care for the lower extremities. Its providers offer multidisciplinary treatment options for complications involving the lower leg, including the foot and ankle.
In keeping with the values of StrideCare, Dr. Simon strives to deliver quality patient care combining kindness, education and listening skills. She is empathetic to the different backgrounds, pathologies and experiences of each individual patient. “The best part of patient care is every person you get to interact with; you learn about who they are and there’s something to take away from each interaction that helps me grow as a person,”says Dr. Simon.
While experienced in a vast array of foot and ankle ailments, Dr. Simon’s primary focuses are bunion treatment, hammer and claw toe, nerve-related care, heel pain, children’s foot care, foot injuries, ingrown nails, fungal nails, routine diabetic care, wound salvage, wound care, ankle injuries, tendon injuries, and skin conditions of the foot.
With a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Simon completed her residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Simon has presented posters at the 2019 and 2021 American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Conferences.
