About Dr. Parker
Dr. William Parker, MD FACS graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University and later graduated top of his class, Alpha Omega Alpha, from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He was voted top chief resident in Surgery from Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
He taught Trauma, Vascular, and General Surgery as a clinical professor at Baylor. While serving as the Chairman of Surgery in Oklahoma, he was nominated as a Surgeon General candidate under President George Bush.
William, J Parker, MD FACS, RPhs is a board-certified general surgeon and a vascular surgeon at StrideCare in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Parker is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He is married to Dr. Mary R. Parker, MD, FACOG. They have been married for 30 years and have three children. They both enjoy running marathons, biking, and hiking. They are excited to be in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. He specializes in vascular disease with minimally invasive treatment.
